CLAT exam pattern 2024
CLAT serves as the primary gateway to India's top National Law Universities, including NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata, NLU Jodhpur, and RMLNLU Lucknow. Securing a top rank in CLAT is a coveted goal for aspiring law students, yet its demanding nature makes it one of India's most competitive exams, with a success rate of only 5%.
The CLAT is a two-hour (120-minute), offline (paper-based) test consisting of 150 comprehension-based multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It is conducted in December for admission to the following academic year.
Except for the quantitative techniques section, each section of the CLAT features a passage of approximately 350-450 words followed by a set of MCQs. In contrast, the quantitative techniques section presents short sets of facts, propositions, graphs, or other visual representations of numerical data, followed by a series of questions.
